Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how paid FiveForge subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, when cancellation takes effect, and how refunds, accidental charges, and chargebacks are handled. For full billing terms, see the Subscription & Billing Terms.

Refund & Cancellation PolicyLast updated: September 22, 2026Version 2.0

1.Overview

FiveForge's paid plan (Go) is a subscription billed in advance on a monthly cycle through PayPal. This policy covers what happens when you cancel, what you can expect from refunds, and how payment disputes are resolved.

The details below work together with the Terms of Use and the Subscription & Billing Terms. If there is a conflict, the billing-specific documents govern billing questions.

2.Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not terminate your FiveForge account or your access to the service immediately.

  • How to cancel. Cancel through the payment provider's subscriber dashboard (PayPal, under your active subscriptions), or contact us through the contact page and we'll point you to the correct flow.
  • When it takes effect. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for (see Section 3).
Deleting your FiveForge account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. To stop billing you must also cancel the subscription through PayPal (see the Terms of Use).

3.What Happens After Cancellation

When you cancel, we do not prorate or refund the remainder of the current billing period as a matter of course. You keep Go access until the end of the period you already paid for, and then your account continues on the Free plan (or as otherwise stated on the pricing page).

Cancelling only affects your subscription. Your account, projects, sessions, and Free-plan eligibility remain, subject to the Terms of Use.

4.Refunds

FiveForge reviews refund requests on a case-by-case basis. In general:

  • Partial periods are not refunded. If you used part of a billing period, that period is not refunded by default.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges. If you were charged twice by mistake, or your account was charged in error, contact us and we will investigate and correct it.
  • Discretion. Any refund is granted at FiveForge's discretion and does not waive our rights under the Terms of Use.

To request a refund, contact us through the contact page or at [email protected] with your account email and, if possible, the relevant payment reference. We will confirm the outcome of your request.

5.Chargebacks

A chargeback is a dispute raised with PayPal or your card issuer after a charge. Chargebacks are processed by the payment provider under its own rules; FiveForge does not itself reverse payments.

Filing a chargeback does not suspend your obligation to pay for services you received. Abusive or fraudulent chargebacks — for example, disputing charges for services actually provided — may result in restriction or termination of your account, consistent with the payment provider's rules and applicable law.

6.Fraud Prevention & Abuse

FiveForge reserves the right to restrict or deny refunds where a request is abusive, fraudulent, or connected to a violation of the Terms of Use or the Acceptable Use Policy — such as refund fraud or chargeback abuse.

Refund-request volume alone is never treated as abuse; but patterns that indicate fraud (for example, cycling accounts to obtain repeated refunds) are handled as account abuse under the Acceptable Use Policy. In all cases, outcomes follow the Terms of Use and applicable law.

7.Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase under the laws of your jurisdiction, except where the payment provider or FiveForge is required to collect them. Where collection is required, the amount is shown to you through PayPal at checkout. Refunds, when granted, are issued for the amounts actually received by FiveForge after applicable fees and taxes.

8.Contact

For billing questions, cancellation help, or refund requests, contact us through the contact page or at [email protected]. Support is typically answered within 1–2 business days.
